Training is grueling and twists both hemi-spheres of my brain inside out. Feels like it's burning in there. (Which, on
any given day, you cannot imagine the shorts in the synapse, what with the axons bleeding into the gaps and popping neurons from dentrites, sizzling into a blowout of necrotic circuitry, oozing cellular debris to dust over this inner chaos. While listening to the trainer, my pen seizes repeatedly and notes from class are unintelligible.) I digress. Anywho, comments shared in class lead me to believe that I am not alone in this challenge with my peeps. (Well, except for the illegible, notes.) On a particularly stressed day, I reached out to a team member by tapping my heart twice in a fist, drawing away making the peace sign. Oddly, this earned respect--and a nickname.
